Brian Mannering, CEO/President
Brian Mannering brings more than 35 years of leadership experience to LaForce and a deep commitment to the people, culture, and values that drive the company’s success. Since joining LaForce in 1987 in the Shipping & Receiving department, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales, Vice President of LaForce, President in 2007, and in 2016, he acquired the title of CEO. His career journey reflects both his dedication to the organization and his firsthand understanding of the employees and teams that make LaForce what it is today.
As CEO, Brian has championed a people-first culture built on collaboration, growth, and shared success. He believes strong businesses are built by engaged employees who feel valued, empowered, and connected to a common purpose. Under his leadership, LaForce has fostered an environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and open communication while supporting employee development and delivering exceptional customer service.
Drawing on decades of experience in the door, hardware, and security industry, Brian has guided LaForce in its mission to provide expert technical knowledge and door-opening solutions that enhance life safety and building security. His leadership philosophy centers on bringing people together, leveraging collective expertise, and creating opportunities for employees to contribute, innovate, and grow.
A native of Green Bay, Brian believes thriving communities and successful businesses go hand in hand. He serves on the Council of Trustees at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, actively supports NEW Community Shelter, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay. He also encourages LaForce employees to engage in community initiatives through volunteerism, charitable giving, and corporate support.
Brian and his wife Amy have three adult children and have been blessed with two grandchildren. Social and physical activity are hallmarks to his lifestyle and he enjoys being outdoors, specifically on the golf course.
