Paying it Forward with LaForce

Culture

At LaForce, we care deeply about satisfying customers’ needs when partnering with them on a project. We also take great pride in our commitment to making a difference in the community. Our employees create a positive impact each year by participating in volunteer events.

What is the Volunteer Program?

The volunteer program starts with an internal committee that plans and coordinates volunteer events each month. These events allow our LaForce employees to take a break from their workday to help serve the community. Our volunteers have worked on various projects such as trash cleanups, building and installing fences, cleaning, and reorganizing facilities.

The Donation Station is an internal event where LaForce donates specific items for a local organization. The organization that LaForce donates to is decided by the volunteer committee and there are four donation stations that are held each year. In March, LaForce donated over 800 children’s books to Lincoln Elementary School in Green Bay. In May, LaForce will begin our second donation station as they will be donating household items to Altrusa Hospitality House.

The Volunteer Program is an essential component of LaForce’s work-life balance. Every employee can use up to six paid hours for community service work. Whether spending time outside helping at the zoo, or inside volunteering at a school, the volunteers put in so much hard work to make the most of their volunteering experiences.

What our volunteers enjoy about the program is the opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers and network with other organizations. Throughout the past few months, new volunteers have shown up to each event, indicating their excitement to participate in helping around their community.

From the beginning of 2024, our volunteers have accumulated 152 hours working on various projects and volunteering for different organizations.

Here are some of the organizations that LaForce has partnered with through volunteering and donation stations:

  • NEW Zoo and Adventure Park
  • On Broadway
  • Golden House
  • Altrusa Hospitality House
  • Lincoln Elementary School
  • The Einstein Project
  • Fort Howard Elementary School

If you are an organization looking for volunteers, please contact LaForce for additional services and support on upcoming events and projects.

We are very proud of the hard work our volunteers have done in the community. We plan to continue growing and expanding our impact within the community through our dedication and commitment to volunteer.
